Terms & Conditions

Arctic Ride is a company providing private transportation services and tailor-made excursions throughout Iceland.

All prices include 11% VAT unless stated otherwise.

All reservations, changes to existing bookings, and general inquiries must be sent to:

Invoices are issued upon request and sent via email within 7 days after the service.

The driver will wait for passengers for up to 60 minutes after the scheduled arrival time.
In the case of flight delays, waiting time will be adjusted if a valid flight number is provided.
After 90 minutes without contact, the driver may leave the pickup location.

The client meets the driver at the designated pickup area. The driver will display a sign with the client’s name or company name.

Travel times are approximate and may vary depending on weather and road conditions.

Any additional services or route changes must be agreed upon in advance or directly with the driver.

Vehicles are equipped with water, light snacks, and blankets (one per passenger).
Free Wi-Fi is available during transfers and excursions.

Standard baggage allowance per person:

  • 1 checked suitcase
  • 1 carry-on suitcase
  • 1 personal item

Additional luggage or special equipment may require prior arrangement.

For transfers including waiting stops (3 or 5 hours), the driver remains on site.

For Northern Lights tours, departure times depend on the season and daylight conditions.

  • Business Sedan: Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Tesla Model Y, Volkswagen Passat, Skoda Super B or similar (1–3 passengers)
  • Business Minivan: Mercedes-Benz V-Class (up to 6 passengers) Volkswagen Caravella (up to 8 passengers) Toyota Pro Ace (up to 8 passengers)

Arctic Ride reserves the right to provide an equivalent vehicle class when necessary.

Arctic Ride is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings or luggage.

Passengers are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning required due to their behavior.

All complaints must be submitted within 7 days from the invoice date.
Any claims are limited to an amount not exceeding the price of the booked service.

Arctic Ride’s liability for personal injury or property damage is limited to compensation covered by its active liability insurance.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all Arctic Ride vehicles.

Arctic Ride reserves the right to determine or adjust travel routes due to weather or safety conditions.

Service duration and routes may change if required by external conditions.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Icelandic law.
